This brand, known for its beautiful and fun illustrations on its packaging has a range of delicious offerings in their bodycare. I have used their handcreams before and decided to order their sugar scrub from drugstore.com
Their products contain no parabens, phthalates, petrolatum, mineral oil, propylene glycol, retinol, sulfates, or synthetic color. Never animal tested, no animal ingredients

Although I have used scrubs housed in a tube but this is the first one, that I wish it comes in a tub instead. Its not user-friendly at all.
Logically, if the contents are housed in a tube, one have to make sure that the contents are runny enough to flow out of the tube but this sugar scrub as the name implies is not runny at all. It is a thick mixture and sticky and glooey in texture. Can you imagine how tough it is, for a glooey material to ooze out of a tube?

I spent ridiculous time trying to get the scrub contents out of the tube. It just wouldn't budge, no matter how I shake it and how I squeeze it from top to bottom.
When it finally budge alittle, its the liquid that comes out, mixed with abit of the scrubbing bits, so basically, you feel like you are bathing in a veil of moisturising oil on the body with slight scrubbing on the body.

After I had enough battling with the scrub, I cut a larger hole on the gap. I always have a love-hate relationship with salt or sugar scrubs, because its a mixture of the liquid and the beads.
You have to scoop up enough granules with the liquid to balance the whole experience of body scrubbing, else you may end up with more oil and less scrub and vice versa.
The contents of this salt and sea sugar scrub is glooey by nature, and if you scoop up less liquid contents, you may find it slightly more abrasive. I did not quite like using the scrub. The annoying thing about this scrub is the awful packaging.
Just when I was glad that the contents are ending soon, it gets tough again because there is more air in the tube, which meant that when you squeeze, you have to use double the strength and the contents would just burst out, hitting my eyes. Painful, indeed.

The scent is sweet and is described as clean and crisp by their folks. A fresh breeze of Cut Greens and Mineral Salt packs a perky punch. With an energizing splash of cool Citrus Zest and sparkling White Floral, prep for a pure rush of seaside refreshment.

It gives a good scrub if you balance the contents correctly but the bad packaging marred my experience of using this. Kindly note that the instructions state that the scrub is meant to be used on dry skin but I preferred to use it during showering on damp skin so I never follow through their instructions.
I still get clean and well-moisturised skin after each scub.
