Feb Haul

I was down with a severe case of seborrhoeic dermatitis on the face and hair recently which explained my lack of posts. It was depressing enough, looking at myself in the mirror. Adding on to that, I have colleagues coming up to me, asking what happened to my face, in that horrified tone. Surprisingly, I wasn't upset or offended by their remarks, I was just upset with my skin.

In the case of seborrhoeic dermatitis, I have itchiness, flakiness, redness and drying patches on the T-zone and cheeks. I also have large flakes on the hair which fall onto my black clothes like snow.
The dermatologist wasn't very friendly when I asked him how I can discern the difference between eczema and seborrhoeic dermatitis. His answer was, if you can tell the difference, I wouldn't have to spend 15 years in medical school. Jeez. Can you believe that?
Not everyone can afford to spend $100+ for each visit to his clinic and if the remaining products can easily solve the problem for a small red patch, why not? Anyway, its alright. I have my friend, Mr Google at home.

Anyway, here's what I bought recently, either online or via a friend who visited Korea.

hi Agnes
i am sorry to hear about your seborrhoeic dermatitis condition. i am proud when i read you take it lightly over your offensive colleague comment - felt they deserved to get hit by a flower pot under the HDB flat. haha sorry hope i am not mean, but i just felt angry for you!! a good news for you, no matter how bad a skin condition, it will come to pass , just be patient and seek the right help :)

and forget about the stupid dermatogist, he is another sick asshole.

get well soon, babe! i have heard so much about 100% pure, personally i haven't tried any of their product i read from their facebook page, their product are great, of course by their own fans what hahaha. i would buy from the purity link you attached, do they offer cash on delivery? how is their service and is it reliable? and yes have u heard of bud cosmetic, i think they sell 100% pure too, not sure how bad is their size of product there though

Hi Tiffany,

Happy Leap year!
Thanks for your concern. On a lighter note, they having said something about my skin meant that they did pay attention to my presence and probably are concerned about me.
Some do display genuine concern while some just want to make a joke on my expenses. I rather ignore those lame ones.

There are a few online stores who sell 100% Pure products and I first bought mine from Creme Parlour but I think she have closed her online store.
Her prices were the cheapest among PurityCosmetics and Bud Cosmetics. And if you are interested to get yours from PurityCosmetics, you need to hurry, because
their 22% discount is ending today. Because my total amount is over $100, there is free delivery either personally or via post.
I opted for personal delivery at my home (paid via bank transfer) and its been promptly delivered. Janet, the owner have been quite prompt with her replies too. Some of the products which I was keen were out
of stock yet the online cart still allows me to add in the stock though, so probably there will be some to and fro emails going on.

I have done reviews in the past on 100% Pure. Basically, their body washes are quite runny and they have interesting products (yummy ice-cream body cream) for children.
The packaging seemed to have change so I will try the new batch and see how it goes.

Hey Agnes

sorry for getting back a bit late, was mad rush in office today.

Good to hear you are going strong :) i am bad too, very likely worser than you. for the past 2 months, i got this sudden bladder flare and i sought a urologist help to adjust the nerve and now on medication. however i wasn't totally recovered, i just felt i am not so worst like before , not exactly fully well. it get discomfort when i walk, still i tell myself i must believe in recovery and enjoy life. i tried not to wallow in self pity. jia you both of us!

I can't wait to tell you this too, I just bought the 100% pure luminous primer vitamins, a lipstick strawberry (desperately in need of a lipstick to cure mine going to wither in sahara dry desert lip..with no lead!) , some babies shampoo (those we have at the bathroom i checked all contains some form of harsh chemical, preservative, how on earth can we use that on baby?!) and finally a set of brightening skincare.

Yes i remember you mentioned about their body washes before . i think the bud cosmetic is a few dollars more expensive , a few items i randomly checked are $1 - $2 more.

oh, the yummy ice cream body cream for kid is interesting! i got the strawberry for my 2 years old girl. i felt strongly kid shouldn't even expose to product with harsh chemical , paraben no matter how low these ingredient are down the listing; the same for adults as over time, it just eat into our body. we become toxic. so now, I am also "changing my way" to more pure, vegan, organic natural beauty. ah hem, self confessed beauty. hahah kidding. ok, a fat one haha

Last evening, i emailed Purity Cosmetic and ask if they can cash on delivery. indeed, a cute looking executive guy (boyish looking with a "red" nose, hehehe!) just send it to my office. is he the same guy who deliver to your home? :P

by the way, my purchase is $138 (after 22% discount) so i gave him $140 and i said, "keep the change". i think it's ok to tip $2 right? is it little? i told my husband and he said i really think too much, some don't even tip. i teased him back "you right?!" hahahah

enjoy !

Love
Tiffany
