Review : Skin Food Salmon Brightening Eye Serum

Product Description
Highly concentrated water-based serum rich in omega-3 fatty acid, haloxyl, arbutin and vitamins to improve blood circulation and whiten skin for excellent radiant eyes.

I brought the only 2 sachets I had, to my recent Taiwan trip and used it within 2 days, day and night.
4 times of usage, to be exact. Since this is a serum, its supposed to be used before an eye cream but I skipped that and just used the serum alone.

The texture is lightweight and non-greasy. It glides easily on the undereye area and sinks in fast. There is no sticky after-feel and its water-based. 2 of my absolute favourites. There is no fishy smell, if thats your concern. Just a faint light scent, nothing too bad.

Since its only 4 usages, its difficult to determine the effectiveness but I do like the lightweight and non-greasy texture. No obvious brightening effects as far as I can see during those 2 days.

happy to know you have great fun with masks aplenty from family taiwan trip :P
luckily u didn't go japan or hongkong, if not lagi worst hahaha

oh, back on skinfood, urggh i tell you. i wanted to like skin food but lately i tried their skinfood white chocolate mask and it gave me a big cyst pimple on my cheek, i really hate it. it doesn't have ingredient listed behind package and i can't check the ingredient but i suspect there is a high alcohol high up in ranking which is always the case with jap, korean skincare , this mask is what's more a gift from my friend who just came back from korea but turns out an unhappy one for me though i appreciate her thoughts. anyway, i hope this works for you and no breakout, which is really the last thing we want from trying :p

have a great day~!

Hi Tiffany,
Nice to hear from you again.
I went Japan last October but did not buy as much as I thought I would because I did not quite understand the language and afraid that I may get the wrong item. lol.
I went on a very short Hong Kong trip in May09 but did not buy much.
Maybe you can share what are the cheaper brands over in Hong Kong and Japan?
Do you have a blog?

Yes, indeed the beauty journey is painful, guess you have to steer away from SF for the time being. I get zits from The Face Shop masks. lol, so I hardly use their products anymore while my galfriends are fans of their sheet masks.
