As part of my September haul , I got both shampoo and conditioner for $11.90 each and have been using them for the past 2 months or so.
I am pretty shocked that the shampoo only received a pathetic score of 1.5 from 2 users at Makeupalley and its conditioner received a score of 3.2 from 5 users. I am not saying that I like both products that much either, but still, I did not realize that there are people who absolutely hated the shampoo to the core. *grins*

Enough said, lets get back to the basics, right away.
I pretty much like the conditioner packaging, which is simply a flick-open kind of bottle opening. Easy and convenient, without any messiness. However, I hate the opening for the shampoo which is commonly used for hair products. The small press-and-open opening meant that sometimes, the contents get stuck and you have to open the cap. That can be kind of frustrating at times.

The scent kinda threw me off, the first time I used it. Awful, simply awful and at that moment, I kinda wondered when I can use them up.
2 months down the road, I have sort of got used to the scent and is using both products without any problems. The scent of the conditioner is slightly stronger than the shampoo itself.

Made in USA, both their products have no pthalates/parabens, no sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates, no animal testing, no animal by-products and are made with certified organic botanicals. And at $11.90 for 354ml, it certainly sounds like something which I would try out.

The shampoo lathers pretty well but somehow, I felt that its drier than most shampoos I have used before. Its not something which you get it during the first usage, but rather over time. Since its formulated for dry and damaged hairs, I would expect it to be more moisturising. Thats the whole purpose, isn't it?
After each shampoo cleansing routine, my hair felt abit like straw. The squeaky-clean feeling vibe. Not excessive but just slightly. Its like it over-cleanse my hair and the after effects, is leaving it more prone to tangled hair. I definitely need its conditioner to soften my hair. But still, the overall experience has been less than pleasant. The conditioner did soften it, but the overall condition of my hair feels drier than when I am using other hair products.
I am not getting the shine and vitality that I am supposed to get, just well-cleansed hair.
When I brought it over to the winter season for use, it left so much dandruffs on my hair that I am aghast.

I am concurrently using another conditioner for coloured hair from another brand but this shampoo matched with that conditioner made my hair look and feel worse so I would say, it can only match with its own conditioner although it doesn't really combat the dryness that I get from the shampoo, probably only slightly.
